TYPE EXPLORATION & MOODBOARD IMAGES

During the research and moodboard process, I started compiling a wide range of typefaces that visually aligned with the key adjectives the client wanted associated with her brand. Those adjectives were irreverent, experimental, bold, bizzare, and avant garde. During the research process, bridget mentioned to me that so much of what she does as a makeup artist is transformation. That stood out to me and the fact that she's working in three dimensional space as a makeup artist and two dimensional space as a visual artist. I explored both concepts during the logo design process and focused on finding different ways to visualize transformation.
