The Bunkhouse
Every great ranch demands a great outfit of tough and resilient cowboys. That place where they drink, play poker, fight, sleep, and bond together is known as, the bunkhouse. In the show Yellowstone, the bunkhouse hosts a series of characters and provides a glimpse into the working lives of cowboys on the ranch. This part of the Yellowstone story was yet to be explored in a merchandized collection, however; I saw the opportunity to create a robust set of graphics that could span a variety of product applications. Pulling inspiration from canon, specifically posters, signage, and direct quotes from scenes in the bunkhouse. The gritty and rough aesthetic reflects the IP's authentic representation of ranching life and the not-so-glamarious reality of the cowboys that uphold it.

I experimented with various type lockups, textures, and pairings for the Bunkhouse wordmark to capture the rugged, hard-nosed character of both the Bunkhouse and its inhabitants. The slab serif letters in the final wordmark are modified to appear pressed or stamped, mirroring the "Y" branding that some of the ranch works recieved as a sign of lifelong commitment to Dutton Ranch.
